Aloe Vera & B12

Vitamin B12 Deficiency is one of the most common disorders overlooked by Physicians and it plays a key role in maintaining a healthy physical state!

A low level of Vitamin B12 has been associated with Alzheimer’s, asthma, depression, AIDS, multiple sclerosis, tinnitus, diabetic neuropathy and low sperm counts. Clearly making it a crucial vitamin to maintain adequate levels of.  Luckily, the body needs very little B12 daily, probably only about 2 micrograms or 2 millionth of a gram/day. The problem is, Vitamin B12 is not easily absorbed, so you need much larger amounts, to be supplied through the diet or supplementation. The richest dietary sources of Vitamin B12, pretty much all come from animal sources, except for Aloe Vera.

Aloe Vera is one of the only known natural vegetarian sources of Vitamin B12, delivering seventy-five nutritional components including 20 minerals, 18 amino-acids and 12 vitamins.  Best of all, recent studies show that taking supplements with Aloe Vera will increase the absorption of these supplements by up to 200% versus taking them with water!

Today in an email from Be Well Buzz, I learned about numerous health benefits of Vitamin B12.
