GREEN IS GOOD!

  • Sharebar

As this clear, blue, beautiful day begins, the crispness to all the different shades of green that make up the valley I see below, reminds me that GREEN IS GOOD!!!  I have said for a long time now that green is my favorite color because it seems to me that everything GREEN IS GOOD :-)   Grass, trees and of course Aloe or only a few of the magnificent green things on this earth.

Yesterday was Super Saturday for USAloeâ„¢, up in OC this time.  Meetings have been previously held at the factory in Carlsbad until now and we would have a get together at the house after wards.  It is sad for me to think, we won’t have another pot luck after the meetings, up at the Hidden Ranch in Bonsall, CA.  That is where I see this marvelous green view unfolding before me.

So, I guess I will have to save this fun Green Punch recipe to try out another time, in our new place by the beach.  I’m going to post it here now, so you can hold me to it ;-)

Keep in mind I have not tried this yet and the picture is borrowed from where I got the inspiration for this recipe.   To say that I enjoy searching for interesting recipes is an understatement!  My fiance’ calls it my porn, LOL! Anyway check out AllRecipes.com where I found this one, you’ll see  some people had some very clever ideas to really make this punch FUN! For instance;  CAMILLE MATHIS  said

“I fixed this punch last night at a Halloween party. It was a HIT!! I made ice in a bundt pan and threw some plastic spiders in the ice. As the ice melted the spiders started floating in the punch. Then I sat the punch bowl in a smaller bowl and put glow sticks in the small bowl. It lit up so cute. It was gone before I knew it!! Not even one complaint.”
